Privacy Policy

What This Covers
This policy explains how we handle information when you use SteadyFit (formerly Steady). When we say “we” or “us,” we mean the operator of the app.
Website Analytics
The website records visits to the landing page and clicks on app-store or Android beta links. When a link includes a campaign code, that code is recorded with the event. A random identifier stored in your browser’s session storage groups events during that browser session; it is not connected to an app profile, name, or email address.
The website and Convex process these events. Your browser also sends ordinary connection information when loading pages and submitting events, which service providers may include in operational logs.
What The App Collects
SteadyFit does not require a name, email address, or visible account. It creates a hidden anonymous app identity so it can save your profile, preferences, progress, feedback, and analytics across sessions.
Depending on how you use the app, this may include your movement preference, motivators, daily movement goal, caution areas, reminder choice, locale, timezone, app version, attribution, workout attempts, exercise results, completions, program activity, and feedback messages. If you choose to use weight tracking, the app also stores your height, current and desired weight, dated weight entries, and a numeric BMI calculated from height and your latest weight. These measurements are stored with your app profile in Convex and are not sent to Meta or RevenueCat. You can skip entering measurements, edit or delete weigh-ins, and remove the data through Delete App Data. Caution areas, measurements, and anything you write in feedback may reveal health or other sensitive information.
The app also sends diagnostic reports for selected technical errors, including subscription purchase and restore failures. Reports may include error codes, messages and stack traces, the affected operation, app and operating-system versions, timestamps, and subscription product or offering identifiers. Convex stores these reports with your anonymous app profile so we can investigate and resolve problems.
Purchases And Notifications
In-app purchases are handled by Apple’s App Store and StoreKit through RevenueCat. The app uses an anonymous app user identifier and receives purchase and subscription status needed to provide access. The app does not receive your payment-card details.
Movement reminders and the free-trial expiry reminder are scheduled on your device. The current app does not use a push-token database or a remote notification service for these reminders.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide and secure the app, save your app experience, order relevant workouts, deliver reminders you choose, understand product usage, provide support, prevent abuse, calculate BMI from measurements you enter, and process purchases. Weight and height are used for your personal history and BMI display. We do not sell personal information or send weight measurements to advertising or purchase analytics providers.
Service Providers And Analytics
Convex stores durable app data. Better Auth provides the app’s hidden anonymous session. RevenueCat and Apple process purchase and subscription information. Payment details remain with Apple.
On iOS, Meta receives install and app-activation events for measuring app advertising. The app connects Meta’s anonymous identifier to RevenueCat, which can send selected trial and subscription events to Meta. The app does not request the advertising identifier (IDFA). Weight measurements, onboarding answers, and diagnostic reports are not sent through this measurement integration.
Storage, Retention, And Deletion
We retain app data while it is needed to provide the app, support operations, and meet legal obligations.
You can use Delete App Data in the app’s Settings to remove app-owned preferences, attribution, attempts, exercise results, completions, program activity, weight measurements and weigh-ins, feedback, analytics, and diagnostic reports. This keeps the anonymous session in place and does not cancel or remove Apple or RevenueCat purchase entitlements. To ask a privacy question, email support@homeword.app.
What The Current App Does Not Use
The current app does not require account login, contacts, photos, camera access, microphone access, or a health-platform connection. It also does not use remote push notifications for the reminders described above.
Children’s Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review it.
Changes And Contact
We may update this policy when the app or data practices change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. For questions or privacy requests, contact support@homeword.app.
